SS Gospel Centre is an evangelical church which believes that the Bible is the authorative Word of God by which the affairs of the church is governed. In view of that, the church believes in the priesthood of believers where all Christians possess the right to participate in public worship. In addition to that, SS Gospel Centre is a community of believers serving and reaching out to the local community in Petaling Jaya for the glory of God.

Mission Statement
In our Church, Jesus Christ is Lord and we seek to honour and glorify Him in all that we do.
Our Statement of Belief:

| In ONE God eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and sovereign in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgment. |
| That the Lord Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh; we believe in His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His present mediatorial work in heaven and His personal return in power and glory to receive His people unto Himself, to execute judgment and to reign as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords”. |
| That Man who was created by God to worship and serve Him, is alienated from Him because of sin and is therefore under His judgment. |
| That the salvation of man from sin and its consequences is entirely and act of God’s sovereign grace; it is not achieved by any meritorious works on man’s part but is appropriated by Him through repentance towards God and faith in (commitment to) Jesus Christ and in His redemptive work on the cross. |
| That it is the regenerating and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit who indwells the believer, producing in him His fruit, granting to him His gifts and empowering him for service, thus enabling him to live a holy life pleasing to God. |
| That the Church, which is the body of Christ, consists of all who have been redeemed and reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a universal fellowship in which there is no difference based on race, social standing or sex. It is visibly expressed in local congregations of Christian (local churches) who meet regularly and relate to one another in close fellowship. |
| That there will be a resurrection of all who have died, when Christ returns in power and glory. |
| That there will be a day of final judgment of all humankind, both those living at that time and those resurrected; the just among them will receive eternal life and the unjust, eternal damnation. |
| That the Holy Scripture (Bible) as originally given were inspired by God (“God-breathed”) and recorded by men who were “borne along” by the Holy Spirit’s power and expressed the mind of God in words provided and expressed by Him; they therefore the supreme authority for faith and life. |
| That the Holy Scriptures teach the personality, power, malignity and final doom of the devil called Satan. |
